Hopwired – Four Winds and Full Barrel Collaborations

Feb 25, 2018 | Collaborations, Events

Attending the first edition of Hopwired in Vancouver, we were honoured to work with local brewers to create 3 limited run coffee-centric beers.

Four Winds & Modus Coffee: Ca Phe

Coffee Porter with Condensed Milk – 9.3% alc. / vol.

Done Vietnamese-style, ice distilled porter blended with condensed milk and 10% cold brewed coffee using the Bare – Costa Rica, Sumava De Lourdes. Sweet and heavy, this is not a coffee beer to be taken lightly.

Four Winds & Modus Coffee: Schwarddler

Dark Lager Coffee Raddler – 3.7% alc. / vol.

This dark lager coffee raddler is made with 25% cold brewed coffee – Latif, Tanzania Tarime smallholders – A light and easy drinking brew, Schwarddler will showcase the grapey nature of the coffee while highlighting the dark malt character of the beer.

Full Barrel Brew Club & Modus Coffee: Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

Cocoa nibs and vanilla bean – ?% alc. / vol.

This multi-layered one-off beer is rounded out after being blended with a dead light roast of our Bare – Brazil Fazenda dos Campos. Notes of cereal and peanut butter round out the already smooth edges of this beer.
