We’ve developed a coffee offering thats consistent and seasonal at the same time.
Our menu covers a number of profiles that you’ll see on our shelves year-round, although the coffees being used in each will change, each profile will show you similar characteristics. Similar to a blend, but single origin only. Because why blend good coffee. The profiles:
A work horse, this will be our most approachable coffee. Similar to our Dom, with even more of an emphasis on body and sweetness making it great for milk-forward beverages. No roasty flavours, with acidity taking a back seat.
Our standard for a familiar cup. Typically we find well-rounded lots and roast them closer to a medium roast. No roast flavour but the goal is a very forgiving coffee thanks to low acidity, big body, and super sweetness. Rich chocolates, toasted nuts, mild fruit in the back to keep it interesting. Mostly South or Central American coffees.
Our juicy pick of the line up. Mostly African coffees since they inherently have such fruit-forward character but we’re open. It should remind you of your favourite childhood juice box. Super fruity, super sweet and colourful.
Comparable to the Dom, but roasted dead light. A nod to the Nordic roasting style, you can expect mulled spices, cereal, and raw honeys. Keeping it super light while upping the sweetness and body for an fresh and light take on a familiar cup.
More of a wild and adventurous profile. Any origin goes, the roast level depends on the coffee but we keep it light. Typically a coffee with notes not associated with its origin. Lately we’ve been sourcing super exotic Colombians with amazing winy and tropical notes.
Another nod to the Scandinavian style of roasting, expertly dead light. Combining this profile with coffees that are more floral forward you can expect a more delicate and brighter cup. Mostly staying with washed coffees, we’ve found this process works best when roasting super light to show off clarity.
